Nearly a month ago, a man’s fantasy became reality in a form never seen before. The motivation for spending his fortune to create the Iron Chef was to encounter new original cuisines that he called true artistic creations….
This Mod project was an attempt to modify an iron into becoming a sandwich press. Two separate irons will replace the heating plates while a constructed wooden frame replaces the leaver. Further development of the idea resulted in the concept of a removable frame to allow for further use of the irons as they where originally intended.
Since both the irons have a separate thermostat the temperature on each plate can be altered allowing the opportunity for true create freedom.
