Monkey

theres something so satisfying about a sock monkey. its a monkey made out of a pair of socks. and you can tell. its past life as a pair of socks is carried on as part of the monkeys personality somehow.
so i made one.
heres a pattern i drew to describe how the monkey came to be..
one of the great things about making sock animals is that you dont have to make patterns/measure things etc- everything is decided by the size of your socks.
steps-
- i turned the socks inside out and got cutting and sewing as i described in the diagrams.
- i then stuffed the body and limbs and used a ladder stich to connect all the pieces together while hiding the thread. - then i just sewed on buttons for eyes and TA DA. monkey.
after this i started on the giraffe
