The decorative cosmetics are not only powders and lipsticks now, they include from hair spray to contact lenses even double eyelid tape. The cosmetics’ developing are the technique of enhancing people’s appearance changing. The cosmetic history could go back to 3500BC in Ancient Egypt times. The cosmetics just own by royalty during that time. And the cosmetic use once was not accepted by western due to the social etiquette was quite rigid. In the 19th century, it only could use by people like actors and clowns but not for the master race. Until the middle of the 20th century, cosmetics were becoming widespread gradually. Nowadays, it is really up to you to show your pure face without make-up or make-up. They are two different beauties, people accept and appreciate different beauties.
As we know, the makeup geeks are fascinating in learning new makeup skills. Watching or attending the reality make-up show is a way they learning. The contents of the show is generally like invite some girls to be models and a makeup artist make-up for them. The form is usually some live show, maybe in public place, maybe TV show . Via the show the makeup artists introduce new products and skills and explain them step by step for the audience. Such as sharing the experience about using a spacial products which effect is obvious or how to draw the smoke eyes. Audience could ask questions and the makeup artist gives some feedback to them. The makeup geeks excited in what happened after make-up, they want to see a girl before make-up looks normal, but after make-up become amazing beautiful like two different people. “Our products can cover your defects.” this is the main spirit of a welcome cosmetic brand “benefit”. “Cover your defects” sounds extremely attractive to women, because that what everybody want to get after make-up.
Furthermore, makeup geeks pursue luxurious cosmetic products. Good products not only got a shining packaging but also to be propagated they are more health to your skin. To many makeup geeks, what kinds of products they use means what level of people they are and they not only like using the products but also like the feeling when they buying them. The most expensive in the industry as the consumer pays not only for the product but also for the brand. The makeup geeks are crazy about owning the cosmetics they want. If the place they live is limited to get the product, they will try their best to get it. Such as ask a friend who is traveling to bring the cosmetic for them, or buy the goods online even maybe from another country. They looking forward for the moment that the cosmetic arrived, and show it to the friends around them. Some makeup geeks like to photograph everything they own and upload to the internet, maybe on Facebook or make-up forum.
On the other hand, human using animal testing to get the improvement of cosmetic. To protect human’s health by harming animals. But good news are in September 2004 at European Union, testing cosmetic products on animals start to be illegal. And the European Union agreed to phase in a near-total ban on the sale of animal-tested cosmetics throughout the European from 2009.
In conclusion, how to use cosmetics are a skill makes people crazy about it. Cosmetics can cover people’s defects and enhance their appearance, they can bring people a good feeling for themselves. Although the development of cosmetics harming other race, a great many of makeup geeks will follow them.
