LED Display Project
I have further refined my project idea focusing in on a system that can be programmed or reactive to audio. The below system is closer to the project I am looking at creating, however, I may try to reduce the number of parts and also introduce an audio sensor that is activated when the unit is not being computer controlled.
Basic information on how to make a light blink using a Arduino board;
For this project i would require;
- LED’s – possibly using strip or ribbon RGB LED’s (I am aiming to keep the cost relatively low so in this case I will use less than the project at the top).
- Power conversion (most likely a transformer stepping down from 240V AC to 12V DC).
- A microcontroller / driver (such as an Arduino board) that can connect to a computer ie. via a USB cable.
- An audio sensor as an input that causes the LED's to change.
- Wires /switches /mount boards /casing /stands ect.
Some possible sources to obtain components;
- Audio to light converter
