S3197121 POUR TEA - project 2

From Physical Programming

To open the gem click the space bar. By clicking the space bar, it send a signal to the create object.

With the left click the gemhead is turned on and when holding it down world lighting is also turned on – as a result by holding the left button on the mouse down the teapot is rendered.

By moving the mouse side to side the teapot then has a tipping action – this is controlled by the mouse position controlling the rotate of the object. The colour is controlled in the same way.

I have added (tried to.. sometimes doesn’t work) text that says ‘some tea?’( after selecting the font with ‘f’), and sometimes says gem. The text size is controlled by moving the mouse up above the teapot and is controlled by the rotate of the text. And the text can be changed by pressing ‘f’ and selecting a font.

This patch could be used in a game situation or advertising tea or teapots using the interaction between the user/mouse and the tipping teapot.

To improve this pd patch more control of the text could have been more interesting and to have anther object to pour out of the teapot or an image in the background to give it more context.

These codes were taken from class, the tutorial list of objects, and by using the help option in pd.
