I’m in a show at 200 Gertrude St. was reproduced for ‘Appointments’, curated by Spiros Panigirakis and presented at ‘Sarah Scout Presents’, Melbourne.
The work is an extension of a 1999 project by the same name that was exhibited at 200 Gertrude Street (now Gertrude Contemporary). The 2012 work consists of two photographs of the artist, one taken in 1999 and the other in 2012. The 1999 photograph is framed along with the wall text from its original exhibition in 1999. Accompanying these photographs is a reenactment of the 1999 performance in which labelled clothing was worn by the artist for the duration of the exhibition.
